MSP budgets up by as much as 70% to meet growing IT demand

Managed service providers (MSPs) are increasing their spending by as much as 70% to meet growing enterprise demands, according to a new report from ETB Technologies. While 80% of respondents have increased their budget spend overall, 67% have doubled (50%) their budget size with the remaining respondents (27%) saying they had increased their budget by as much as 60-70%.

According to the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Enterprise Infrastructure Tracker: Buyer and Cloud Deployment, spending on compute and storage infrastructure products for cloud deployments, including dedicated and shared IT environments, increased 2.9% year over year in the third quarter of 2023 (3Q23) to $25.4 billion.
