Making an impact

Borris says that it made a big impact at this year’s Data Centre World Conference & Expo.

A steady stream of valuable enquiries means Borri’s sales team are already hard at work preparing proposals for not just data centre design and build specialists but the company is also being specified by some of the country’s leading universities, councils, hospitals and power generation companies.

With an impressive stand that could be seen from all corners of the exhibition hall, visitors were instantly drawn to Borri. The company featured its hugely popular three phase B9000FXS UPS unit alongside its newest back-up power solution – a modular, scalable, transformer free UPS system capable of achieving industry leading efficiency levels of up to 99.5%.

To demonstrate the high quality Italian craftsmanship and multi-level protection features of both UPS solutions, the inner components were placed on display, which attracted a constant flow of interested visitors and generated a lot of positive discussions.

Commenting on the success of Data Centre World, Borri’s sales director, Mark Trolley said: “We are thrilled with the response that we received from the exhibition and are thoroughly impressed with the quality of enquiries and leads that we have generated.

“It is a very exciting time for the data centre market and our presence at the show firmly cemented our leading position within this massive growth sector. The advanced technology that Borri has incorporated into its solutions to ensure they deliver superior resilience has made them the preferred choice amongst many companies which cannot afford to take any risks.

“An increasing number of contacts we spoke to indicated that although in the past a greater emphasis had been placed on the affordability of UPS systems, times are changing and more unit purchases are being made based on the quality and performance of the UPS solutions. We have always invested in new technologies and are committed to product development, which has positioned our UPS systems at the forefront of power protection and efficiency.”
