Virtustream says that its enterprise class cloud solution, xStream, has been shortlisted for Datacentre Software Product of the Year in the DCS Awards.
The Datacentre Software Product of the Year award recognises a product that has had a significant impact on the market and its customers. The category identifies the innovative aspects of the software and the major differentiators that make it stand out from its immediate competitors.
Emphasising enterprise-grade security and performance SLAs, xStream 2.0 is designed to support the highest compliance frameworks including healthcare (HIPPA), e-commerce (PCI), government (FISMA, G-cloud) and defence (DIACAP, NIST800-53). It is available as private cloud management software for existing enterprise IT, as a managed IAAS cloud service from the Virtustream cloud and as white-label cloud solutions for Service Providers. xStream delivers significant cost-savings and performance efficiency beyond traditional virtualised environments, in addition to cloud economics and business agility benefits.

Businesses are recognising the many benefits offered by Virtustream’s solution. Following its acquisition by Domino Sugar, Tate & Lyle Sugars implemented the hybrid cloud platform xStream to migrate its full IT application landscape to the cloud. The DCS awards reward the products, projects and services as well as honour companies and teams operating in the datacentre arena.
