Phoenix confirmed as G-Cloud III supplier

Phoenix will support IaaS, PasS, SaaS and specialist Cloud services.

Phoenix, a leading provider of Hosting, Cloud, Managed Services and Business Continuity, has been confirmed as a supplier to G-Cloud III, the Government’s procurement framework for Cloud computing services.

As a supplier, Phoenix will be offering a portfolio of products and services within the framework including Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, Software as a Service, and Specialist Cloud services.

The rise in G-Cloud services procurement is evidenced by the latest findings released by The Cabinet Office. The latest figures indicate a 50 per cent increase over the previous month, in services procured through the G-Cloud framework. The total reported sales across both G-Cloud I and G-Cloud II frameworks now stands at over £18M.

Peter Bertram, Executive Chairman for Phoenix commented: “Since its inception, the G-Cloud framework has given government departments and agencies easy access to a flexible range of technologies to support Government adoption of cloud products and services.

“Phoenix has always been supportive of GPS frameworks and the advantages and benefits that our customers and potential customers can realise. Increasingly, more and more public sector organisations are exploring and exploiting the benefit of Cloud via the G-Cloud framework which gives them the opportunity to select from suppliers who are certified to the highest standard, with clear pricing and service deliverables”

Peter concluded: “Being awarded a place on the framework clearly demonstrates our business strength in Cloud services, as well as providing the ideal springboard to showcase our credentials to the public sector.”
