White label IAAS

TDAzlan-SDG, the value-added enterprise distribution arm of Computer 2000, part of the Tech Data Group, is making it easier for resellers to become Cloud Providers through a sole distribution agreement with AirVM, the leading provider of white-label infrastructure as a service (IaaS) delivery platforms.

The CloudProvider IaaS service will be available as part of Azlan-SDG’s overall Cloud Services portfolio and gives with a low-cost entry-point into the hosted services sector. Resellers will be able to offer their own-branded IaaS and start building their own presence in the cloud market.

With a fully-customisable storefront, resellers can offer more than 60 services, including virtual servers, desktops, applications and a wide range of other computing services for immediate use, enabling customers to scale their IT capabilities dynamically in order to meet the changing demands of their organisations. Resellers can choose which services to offer and their own charging model, making use of Tech Data’s StreamOne partner aggregation and billing platform to collate charges for all services consumed at the end of each month.

Resellers can offer pre-set services or allow customers to provision their own services to meet their exact needs.

Daniel Cartter, EMEA Director of Cloud Solutions and Services, Azlan-SDG, stated: “Cloud Provider IaaS makes it easy and cost-efficient for resellers to enter the cloud services market. It enables them to offer bespoke cloud services that are most appropriate for their customers, under their own name, brand and styles with minimal investment and develop a completely new dimension to their own value proposition.”

More than 50 resellers attended two open days on the Azlan-SDG Cloud Provider IaaS offering which were held last week in Birmingham and Basingstoke. “The attendance and response we received was extremely encouraging and we’re expecting to go live with a number of partners within the next few weeks”, said Cartter.
