ControlCircle partners with Skyscape Cloud Services to deliver on-demand cloud computing

Max3000 to provide the public sector with monitoring & management of cloud services via Giii G-Cloud Framework.

ControlCircle has partnered with Skyscape Cloud Services, the assured cloud services company, to offer managed compute as a service to the UK public sector.

The partnership brings together Skyscape’s assured cloud services and ControlCircle’s Max3000™ monitoring and management platform to enable organisations to benefit from a fully monitored and managed compute as a service capability, consisting of servers and operating systems, on which applications and solutions can be deployed. ControlCircle’s managed compute as a service delivers a flexible, scalable and resilient infrastructure deployed in line with customer design requirements. Additional critical health monitoring of customer applications is available based on customer requirements.

Both Skyscape's assured cloud services and ControlCircle’s managed compute as a service, which includes Max3000™, are available on the latest G-Cloud Framework – Giii. ControlCircle will be instrumental in providing a fully managed and monitored on-demand cloud computing service to the UK’s 30,000 public sector organisations through the CloudStore.

Phil Dawson, CEO of Skyscape, said: “Skyscape is very proud to be working with ControlCircle, to provide highly-secure, resilient and agile services for Giii. We fully expect Giii to be an exciting, highly-competitive and rapidly maturing market, presenting opportunities for buyers and vendors alike.”
“We’re delighted to be partnering with Skyscape to deliver a fully managed and monitored compute as a service capability,” said Carmen Carey, CEO of ControlCircle. “With Government organisations being encouraged to consider public cloud services as the main channel for IT spending, Max3000™ will bring a level of visibility and control needed to confidently adopt cloud services.”
