In its third year, the DCS Awards honors companies operating in the data center fields, recognizing the achievements of end users, channel partners and vendors. Winners were selected by public vote and were recognized during the DCS Awards event on May 23rd, 2013 at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel & Conference Center in London, which was attended by more than 300 professionals from across Europe.
As part of its project mandate to migrate Garwyn Group to a cloud-based platform, EBC Group deployed M-Files Cloud Vault, an ECM solution that conveniently centralizes their claims management documentation and associated processes. M-Files Cloud Vault empowered Garwyn Group to quickly and easily organize, find, protect and share claim documentation, while also eliminating the need for staff members to endlessly browse through paper archives and network folders.
"For EBC Group, winning the ‘Private Cloud Project of the Year’ award is a testament to the hard work and determination that went into successfully centralizing all data between the Garwyn Group's 12 locations with state of the art cloud technology, such as M-Files Cloud Vault," said Richard Lane, Managing Director at EBC Group. "This distinction from the DCS Awards validates our position as a leading provider of managed office services in the UK as well as the robust and flexible ECM functionality and measurable ROI that M-Files Cloud Vault delivers."
"We're delighted that EBC Group has been recognized by the DCS Awards for their implementation of M-Files Cloud Vault at the Garwyn Group," said Miika Mäkitalo, CEO of M-Files Corporation. "Our partners are uniquely poised to take advantage of the growing cloud-based services market with M-Files Cloud Vault. The EBC Group is a great example of a company that is seizing the opportunity to enable its customers to leverage the cloud for scalable online storage capacity, robust file sharing capabilities and anytime, anywhere access to important business information."
