Infinity SDC appoints Andrew Humphrey to drive channel sales

Specialist data centre operator Infinity SDC today announces the appointment of Andrew Humphrey as its Channel Sales Director.

Andrew has been appointed to a new position created by Infinity to specifically develop its network of sales partners and promote Infinity’s diverse range of data centre solutions. He will also be responsible for developing new relationships with other data centre providers, enabling them to access Infinity’s increasing range of services and growing data centre portfolio in the UK.

Infinity is the UK’s fastest growing data centre provider, and the appointment of Andrew Humphrey is especially significant as Infinity continues to expand its portfolio, providing a comprehensive range of solutions to meet clients’ needs.

Andrew Humphrey brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. Before joining Infinity, he has held a number of Senior EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) roles focused on establishing and growing channel sales teams. He has 12 years’ experience in the data centre business, most recently as Regional Sales Director for EMEA at Savvis, where he was responsible for transforming and implementing their EMEA Alliances strategy. Prior to that, he was the founding member of the Phoenix IT Services Hosting Business Unit.

Commenting, Chief Marketing Officer Nigel Stevens said: “I am delighted that Andrew Humphrey has joined Infinity as Channel Sales Director, particularly in such an exciting period of growth for the company. We have developed a strong team here with specific expertise, and Andrew has been brought in to expand our network of sales partners and drive sales to these partners.

“We have a proven track record of providing reliable, zero-downtime data centre services, and in recent months, we have expanded our product offer to include the provision of co-location data centre solutions alongside our bespoke, wholesale offer.

“Andrew’s experience and knowledge of the sector will be invaluable in driving sales and communicating our new product offer to potential sales partners. We warmly welcome him to the company.”
