Dell and Netsuite extend partnership

Between them they aim to create a global, end-to-end, business management environment

Since Michael Dell took his eponymous computer company out of public ownership a year ago things have changed quite significantly, and continue to do so. It has, for example, started to build a real track record for its portfolio of cloud consulting and application services as it spreads itself from its legacy hardware-centric business.

It is now looking to extend the scope of that business by extending the partnership the company has with cloud ERP and business management specialist, Netsuite, to build holistic cloud solution services based on the end-to-end cloud capabilities of Dell and NetSuite’s unified cloud-based business management software to deliver.

Together, the two companies aim to provide a full end-to-end offering that includes consulting, implementation and post implementation services.

NetSuite provides customers with the flexibility to replace aging systems entirely with a single cloud business management solution or to maintain their investments in on-premise ERP systems while launching new subsidiaries and locations in the cloud using NetSuite OneWorld in a two-tier ERP model.

Customers can now significantly benefit from Dell's domain expertise across healthcare, financial services, retail, manufacturing and ecommerce to complement NetSuite's rich functionality across business processes. The collaboration will also be a catalyst for cloud innovation.

Dell’s industry-specific solutions, powered by the NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Network, extends NetSuite’s leading application suite deeper into a broad array of industries with targeted processes and functionalities.

Additionally, Dell and NetSuite provide advanced solutions for complex business problems through the existing Dell Boomi relationship that includes Boomi AtomSphere. This is a SuiteApp offering an extensive library of pre-built connectors for NetSuite-to-SaaS and NetSuite-to-on-premise integrations, allowing users to quickly connect any combination of cloud, SaaS, or on-premise applications with no appliances, no software and no coding.

“NetSuite’s goal is to provide the best cloud ERP solution for its customers. Dell’s depth and breadth of industry experience in consulting and system integration, combined with our sophisticated customisation and business process workflows to support vertical industry needs, provides the perfect solutions for CIOs looking to migrate their ERP solutions to the cloud,” said Zach Nelson, Netsuite’s CEO.
