eSight upgrades hosting environment to world-class facility

eSight Energy Ltd. has upgraded its data centre facility to offer customers superior hosting options in a highly secure environment.

The state-of-the-art facility in Milton Keynes has been granted the Royal Charter and offers a world-class Tier 4 environment.

With the move to the new data centre, eSight hosted customers can ensure that data is protected to the highest security specification- everything possible is done to prevent unauthorised access to the site, buildings, data halls and rack housings. Systems are in place to identify and react to threats so that the infrastructure is protected from theft, damage or interference and enterprise class firewalls are used to protect all hosted systems.
eSight hosted customers will also benefit from a noticeable increase in speed when running analysis and reports, as the new facility offers ultra-fast network connectivity for best performance.

This significant investment from eSight Energy to offer a world-class hosting environment further strengthens the company’s position as an enterprise level software provider, with the infrastructure to host the substantial data of large, multi-national organisations.

The facility will host eSight systems for application across a wide range of sectors including Facilities Management, Pharmaceuticals, Aerospace, Education, Brewing and Food Processing, in sites across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The data centre complements eSight’s second facility located in Chicago, which serves the US market.
