Now Netsuite partners with Deloitte

The SaaS ERP and ecommerce specialist follows up a partnership with Dell by inking an alliance with business consultancy major, Deloitte

Here is another example of an increasingly common trend now occurring in cloud services, collaboration and partnership between the leading business-oriented SaaS providers and the major business consultancies.

This one is a new partnership that has been formalised between financials, ERP and omnichannel commerce provider, Netsuite, and business consultants, Deloitte.

The alliance is intended to provide implementation, finance transformation, change management and a full breadth of consulting services to the market.

“NetSuite’s demonstrated/time-tested, customisable solution gives us the platform to answer the growing demand for cloud ERP which we have seen from businesses of all sizes,” said Paul Clemmons, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP and Deloitte’s Emerging Technologies Lead. “With Deloitte’s change management, industry experience and integration services, our joint customers can rapidly realise the power of the cloud.”

NetSuite helps organisations manage core business processes with a single, fully integrated system that covers areas including covering ERP/financials, CRM, ecommerce and inventory.  Deloitte brings an extensive repertoire of skills and resources in security and privacy, as well as industry processes and insights from both a national and global perspective.

Deloitte’s alliance with NetSuite is expected to include offerings for both mid-market and larger enterprise clients seeking to benefit from using a two-tier ERP approach.  This allows organisations to efficiently use NetSuite during acquisitions, start-up business units or remote geographies while still running larger ERP products at its headquarters.

The alliance is also expected to introduce an offering that will help automate adherence to revenue recognition rules via a cloud solution that can integrate with existing ERP systems.

Finally, the alliance is expected to incorporate an omni-channel offering which can allow organisations to rapidly establish a solid financial and retail commerce foundation in quickly expanding markets.

“Global enterprise and mid-market organisations are turning to cloud ERP for its agility, scalability and flexibility,” said Jim McGeever, chief operating officer at NetSuite. “NetSuite’s proven cloud ERP together with Deloitte’s breadth and depth of consulting services provides the resources for these organisations to adapt and prosper amidst the fast-paced business environment of today.”

Deloitte and NetSuite plan to leverage their respective strengths to drive innovation across multiple industries and business sectors. The two firms have previously worked together on a number of implementations, with very positive results and are recognised as leaders in their field.
