Helen Lamb has been appointed Executive Director for Managed Infrastructure Services (MIS). This move sees Lamb transition from her current role, where she successfully led the Business & Application Services division for over two years.
Nigel Shaw has been appointed as Executive Director for Business & Application Services. He has previously held senior Fujitsu roles in the Hosting, Networks & Security (HNS) and Public Sector divisions, and has an extensive background in the consulting and software services business before joining Fujitsu.
Catherine Rowe, currently Chief Operating Officer for FTEL, will take on a new role as the Executive Director for Network & Telecoms. Rowe, who brings with her significant experience across a number of senior roles at COO and CEO level, will be responsible for leading the merging of Fujitsu’s network business with FTEL (Fujitsu Telecommunications) and for driving growth in the combined unit.
Meanwhile, Steven Cox has been announced as Executive Director for the Public Sector. Cox has been leading some of Fujitsu’s largest customer accounts such as HMRC over the past few years. This appointment will allow Cox to enhance the shape and strategy of the company’s substantial Public Sector business.
In addition, Tim Gibson, Executive Director, Defence & National Security (D&NS) has been appointed to the UK & Ireland Executive Team. This promotion is in recognition of the importance of Defence and National Security business for Fujitsu in the coming financial year.
Simon Carter will continue to lead marketing activity in the UK & Ireland, in a position that is now elevated to the Executive Team, in recognition of the role that Marketing will play in Fujitsu’s approach to the market moving forward. In this position, he will report jointly to Claus-Peter Unterberger, Vice Group Head, Global Marketing Group, Fujitsu; and the Head of Fujitsu UK & Ireland, Duncan Tait, as part of Fujitsu’s global matrix structure.
