OnApp has announced a partnership with IBM to bring the OnApp cloud platform to service providers, fully hosted on IBM's SoftLayer infrastructure, through the IBM Cloud marketplace at http://ibm.com/cloud.
The new partnership will make it easy for service providers - including cloud providers, web hosts, telcos and Managed Service Providers - to launch their own Infrastructure-as-a-Service clouds using the OnApp platform, running on pre-configured IBM SoftLayer infrastructure. It means service providers will be able to launch a range of public, private and hybrid cloud and dedicated hosting services on SoftLayer without having to purchase, configure, deploy and maintain their own datacenter hardware.

The OnApp cloud platform automates orchestration, server management, provisioning, scaling, failover, billing and more for a wide range of infrastructure services, including public and private cloud, dedicated servers, smart servers, CDN, storage, DNS and backup.
