WFT Cloud’s solution portfolio for SAP HANA enables companies to migrate their existing implementations of the SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW) application to run on SAP HANA in a private cloud managed by WFT Cloud. This newly added service is in response to the recent announcement titled “SAP and VMware Announce SAP HANA for Production Use on VMware vSphere 5.5.”

The management services which are also a part of WFT Cloud’s portfolio support a customer’s production and non-production environments running SAP HANA, 24 hours a day, seven days a week (24 x 7).

Customers can achieve greater flexibility by combining virtualization support for SAP HANA for production landscapes with the SAP HANA tailored data center integration, as it allows them an alternative to the physical appliance model, when deploying SAP HANA. The SAP HANA tailored data center integration model helps reduce CapEx and OpEx by reusing existing hardware as well as taking advantage of current operational management processes.

Mahesh Reddy, CTO of Wharfedale Technologies states, “As one of the first companies to be SAP-certified as a provider of cloud services for SAP solutions, we have continued to be in the forefront of delivering the benefits of virtualization and the cloud to our customers. WFT Cloud has virtualized multiple non-production landscapes running SAP HANA. We are now able to deliver value to customers by virtualizing SAP HANA in production landscapes.”
