Organisations using the online marketplace Cloudstore can choose Capita Productivity Hub, which offers access to Microsoft tools such as Outlook, Lync, Sharepoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Capita Productivity Hub, delivered via Capita Private Cloud which was launched last year, allows organisations to increase productivity by offering trusted applications on the go and on their choice of device. It also allows customers to receive the service in a way that suits them – on premise, public or private cloud or a hybrid combination.

Customers have access to the latest versions of applications and benefit from the knowledge that the applications are being used in a UK-based, secure environment.

As a member of Microsoft Corp.’s global Cloud OS Network, Capita IT Services is one of the only UK companies to be able to offer popular Microsoft applications via private cloud.

Peter Hands, executive director, Capita IT Services, said: “We are proud to be able to offer our services via the G-cloud framework, which offers the public sector innovative, cost effective solutions from a range of suppliers and presents an opportunity to reduce the cost of their total IT spend.

“Public sector organisations want the ability to use the cloud delivery model that suits them, but without the headache of managing it. Capita Productivity Hub is testament to this, offering applications via a private cloud infrastructure with all data stored in Capita’s UK data centres.”
