KEMP achieves VMware Ready-Hybrid Cloud™ status

KEMP Technologies’ Virtual LoadMaster® has achieved VMware Ready® – vCloud® AirTM status. KEMP is also now a member of the Access Tier of the vCloud Air ISV Partner Program and listed on the VMware Solutions Exchange.

“We are pleased that KEMP Technologies has joined the vCloud Air ISV Partner Program and has achieved VMware Ready® – vCloud® AirTM status. KEMP is one of the first partners to complete certification and achieve this status. It’s Virtual LoadMaster® qualifies for the VMware Ready – vCloud Air logo, signifying to customers that it works seamlessly within VMware vCloud Air and can be deployed in production with confidence,” said Sanjay Katyal, vice president, Global Strategic Alliances & OEMs, VMware.

Customers who want to extend applications to the cloud are faced with the challenges of ensuring high availability and security, confirming compatibility with technologies already in use in their on-premise environment and implementing a way to intelligently steer client traffic to the best endpoint for each request across cloud boundaries.

“With over 72% of enterprise respondents to a recent survey planning to initiate a hybrid cloud deployment by 2015, it’s a natural progression for KEMP to expand its extensive platform support to vCloud Air," said Atchison Frazer, chief marketing officer, KEMP Technologies. “By using KEMP’s Virtual LoadMaster on vCloud Air, enterprises can gain greater agility to scale applications, enhance performance, simplify disaster recovery and unify their hybrid environment. With over 50% of KEMP’s deployments during the past year comprised of a virtualised infrastructure and a large segment of KEMP’s customers currently architecting a hybrid cloud strategy, we’re looking forward to contributing to the adoption rate of vCloud Air and helping customers meet their load balancer software needs in a hybrid infrastructure.”

The VMware Ready program is a co-branding benefit of the Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program that makes it easy for customers to identify partner products certified to work with the VMware cloud infrastructure. Customers can use these products and solutions to lower project risks and realise cost savings over custom-built solutions. With thousands of members worldwide, the VMware TAP program includes best-of-breed technology partners with the shared commitment to deliver the best expertise and business solution for each customer need.
