AVG CloudCare is a cloud-based administration platform offering service providers an easy way to implement and manage IT services for business (SMB) customers, including antivirus, content filtering, online backup, email security and remote management and monitoring (RMM) of apps, cloud apps, servers, workstations and mobile devices. With Centrify, AVG CloudCare IDaaS will enable MSPs to provide a comprehensive offering that combines enterprise user identity management for SaaS and mobile apps with cloud-based enterprise mobility management. With AVG IDaaS, SMB customers can quickly adopt SaaS apps, eliminate password risks and unauthorised access to SaaS apps, boost employee productivity, and enable BYOD initiatives.

“As businesses of all sizes embrace cloud applications and mobility initiatives, it’s critical we enable MSPs to address these organisations’ employee security and lifecycle challenges related to user, device and application on-boarding, and when employees leave a company,” said Mike Foreman, general manager for SMB of AVG. “By combining Centrify’s IDaaS and EMM functionality with our existing RMM offering, Centrify enables AVG to provide a turnkey solution that simply and securely maximises mobile and SaaS productivity with seamless access to our entire suite of AVG services – along with a rich catalogue of more than 2,500 SaaS apps – for customers that have heterogeneous IT environments.”

The new AVG CloudCare IDaaS offers a secure cloud gateway with single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication features to every SaaS application, including the AVG CloudCare suite. Centrify helps bring AVG CloudCare full-circle, enabling MSPs to provide secure access controls across any business infrastructure scenario. Benefits to MSPs include:

• New service that solves real security and usability problems in a BYO app and device world
• Monetise the wave of mobility and cloud adoption with a relevant cloud subscription service
• Help businesses deploy, provision and manage popular SaaS apps such as Office365 and Google Apps
• First-to-SMB-market advantage
• Seamless management of customers with their existing Active Directory infrastructure
• Turnkey, sticky, custom-brandable service with identity, application and mobile management

The Centrify User Suite provides a single Active Directory- or cloud-based login, including from mobile devices and Macs, to corporate resources and SaaS apps such as Office 365, Zoho and WebEx. A secure web portal provides one-click app access, as well as self-service account management, so IT can embrace “bring your own” initiatives without sacrificing security policy. As a result, end users are able to access all of their applications from their PC, Mac or mobile device with one-click access using a single existing identity, while IT can take control of BYO devices enabling both security and user productivity. Unlike competitive solutions that are patched together to combine IDaaS and EMM functionality, Centrify’s solutions are designed cohesively as a single platform from the ground-up, and are also easily customised and rebranded, providing OEMs such as AVG with fast, simple integration with existing offerings.

“As businesses increasingly shift to cloud and mobile environments, traditional access management and security measures no longer apply, and enterprise identity is rapidly becoming the best new security,” said Shreyas Sadalgi, senior vice president of business development for Centrify. “Our partnership with AVG validates Centrify’s holistic approach to IDaaS with integrated EMM as a powerful and differentiated offering for today’s diverse technology business landscape. Fortified with Centrify technology, AVG CloudCare customers can easily tackle the challenges associated with multiple cloud applications and an expanding number of devices entering organisations both on premises and in the field.”
