Six Degrees Group moves to St Katharine Docks

Six Degrees Group (6DG) thas opened its flagship new 22,000 sq. head office in Commodity Quay at St Katharine Docks, Central London’s only marina. The new HQ flows from the quayside into 6DG’s private reception area and its accommodation is organised over two floors adjoined via an atrium.

Commodity Quay itself started life as a warehouse and was more recently the location of one of the UK’s last open outcry trading pits. The building has recently been extensively refitted inside and out to create a fantastic new facility. 6DG’s property will be able to house up to 220 employees. The office features open-plan desk and collaboration spaces, a dedicated customer area with solution showroom, a huge diner-themed breakout area with pool table and arcade machines, and innovative new project rooms.

Alastair Mills, CEO at Six Degrees, commented on the move: “This is a very exciting day for all of us at 6DG and a proud one for management. It is a clear demonstration of ambition and puts us firmly on the map as the UK’s leading mid-market provider of converged technology infrastructure. It’s also a magnificent showcase for both our brand and our services portfolio and will provide a great work/life balance for our people who will enjoy the unique nautical surroundings with a fantastic array of shops, restaurants and markets on our doorstep.
