Riverlite expands to new premises

St Neots-based Riverlite Ltd, a fast-growing specialist IT firm and leading provider of Cloud-based solutions to UK businesses, is to move to new headquarters in St Neots to cater for strong demand for its services following £320,000 in funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial.

Established in 2008 by Paul Oggelsby to deliver high quality IT services to UK organisations either on-premise or through the Riverlite vCloud, the firm has benefitted from the significant growth in demand for cloud computing solutions. Over the past six years Riverlite has grown to become the IT partner-of-choice for a range of UK organisations in sectors such as housing associations, retail, defence and legal.

Despite being a relatively small business, Riverlite recently sponsored the Caterham Formula 1 Team at the final F1 showdown at Abu Dhabi in November last year. The deal saw the firm’s brand broadcast to an estimated global audience of 500 million people.

To cater for demand and better align the business for growth, Riverlite continually hires new staff and has now purchased new premises, having rented to date. The firm currently operates with twelve full-time staff – two in sales and 10 on the technical support and delivery team – while the funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial was used to purchase the new space in the business park in St Neots.

Paul Oggelsby, Managing Director, Riverlite Ltd, said: “Riverlite’s dedicated focus on improving the IT performance of our customers by providing high-end IT Managed Services either on-premise or from the Riverlite vCloud has been a great success. I’m delighted that the firm has become a major competitor in our sector and I’m confident that, with the move to new premises and our highly qualified staff, we will continue to grow.”
