The programme offers flexible licensing designed to support service provider business models, including evaluation versions, upgrades/downgrades and custom billing schedules. A KEMP LoadMaster Application Delivery Controller (ADC) can be deployed as a virtual appliance across all the major virtualisation platforms or in an external rack using a KEMP physical appliance or a ‘bare-metal’ solution, with capacity up to 10Gbps. KEMP has certified bare-metal deployments for Cisco UCS, HP ProLiant DL, Dell R Series, Oracle x86 and Fujitsu Primergy.
The SPLA programme allows licenses to be migrated across platforms as subscriber demands evolve, preserving license value throughout the customer lifecycle. Performance and capacity can be upgraded or downgraded in-situ via a simple license key change process, while features and functionality remain the same. This allows customers to scale as their business grows, but also to respond dynamically to peak events and demand without any service provider provisioning or configuration change.
The KEMP LoadMaster family provides native integration with orchestration and management frameworks, including VMware vRealize, Hyper-V and OpenStack. And as well as advanced load balancing capabilities, KEMP also offers web application firewall (WAF), intrusion protection (IPS) and application edge security (ESP) services, which may be bundled with existing services or offered as standalone products.
