Before joining Connected Data, Russell served as SVP with Barracuda Networks. He also held sales and general management executive positions at Adaptec and Applied Micro and was involved in the sale of the storage division of Applied Micro to LSI Corporation.
In his new role at Connected Data, Russell Johnson will be responsible for global sales, manufacturing, and operations; customer service and support; and channel marketing. His appointment reflects the continued growth in the technology industry's file synchronisation and sharing (FSS) market.
