Arcserve Northern Europe Sales Director, Giovanni Goduti, said: “At Arcserve, we think small and medium businesses deserve the same high-quality data protection solutions as larger enterprises; without reliable backup, these organisations are at risk in just the same way. Arcserve UDP Appliance offers agile, efficient and flexible backup and recovery. We’ve taken time to make sure it’s easy to implement and easy to use – with a price-point that’s unmatched in the industry.”
Core Data Cloud is also an Arcserve partner. Director Sharad Saggar, said: “Core is excited about the launch, as it gives us the ability to offer our customers a single, simple-to-use appliance that allows local backups of both physical and virtual servers, across various operating platforms and leading hypervisors including VMWare, Hyper V and Zen. With unlimited UDP licences included, it provides an “all inclusive” cost model to our customers.”
“Utilising our UK data centres, our enterprise-class platforms plug securely into the Arcserve appliance to give our customers complete end-to-end data protection for local backups, offsite backups and full DR and failover capability at production level performance within minutes, to ensure key business RPO and RTO objectives are achieved.”
Commenting on the launch in Ireland, Fergal Hennigan, business development manager with MJ Flood Technology, the country’s only Arcserve Premier Partner said: “We welcome the introduction of Arcserve’s first UDP appliance to the Irish market as it specifically addresses the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises. It reduces the level of complexity in data backup and recovery and its feature-rich, user-friendly design provides the flexibility that businesses need to protect their data, as part of an on premise or cloud-based solution.”
Arcserve partner NCE’s director of sales John Greenwood added: “As a premium partner of Arcserve, we welcome the addition of the UDP Appliance to the portfolio. This represents a great opportunity for customers looking to address data protection challenges to invest with a pre-certified solution architected specifically for this purpose.”
