FalconStor appoints Iris Hatzenbichler as Marketing Director EMEA

FalconStor recently launched the industry’s first truly-horizontal converged data services platform, FreeStor™, globally. Ms. Hatzenbichler’s appointment in EMEA will help FalconStor continue to accelerate the promotion of FreeStor and firmly position FalconStor as the premier, industry-leading SDS player.

Hatzenbichler has a 15-year history in the IT industry and most recently came from DataCore Software where she was leading the EMEA marketing team. Before focusing on marketing, she effectively built up the operations team of DataCore across Europe and contributed to growing DataCore from a startup to one of the leading software-defined storage companies, with yearly two digit growth rates in Europe.

Hatzenbichler’s responsibilities at FalconStor will cover the whole range of marketing activities, especially driving awareness, generating market demand, and expanding software-defined storage programs across EMEA markets. She will play a major role in nurturing FalconStor’s commitment to building partnerships across EMEA, as well as driving related product launches and go to market efforts across FalconStor’s portfolio.
