As data privacy and security challenges continue to mount for corporations across the globe, Mitratech,  provider of Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) solutions, is enhancing its delivery of value to legal departments concerned with these pressures through the establishment of a new executive-level role focused on data security, and the buildout of additional data centers in the United Kingdom (UK) for European clients.

Kristoph Gustovich has been named Mitratech’s Vice President of Hosting & Security, a new role within the Mitratech organization.  With over 16 years of experience managing data security for highly complex operations, Kristoph is responsible for setting the direction and strategy for Mitratech's security and client data protection initiatives. Since joining Mitratech in 2012, Kristoph has managed teams in Security & Compliance, Professional Services, Hosting, and Corporate Information Technology. Prior to joining Mitratech, Kristoph served in multiple leadership roles for the State of Texas, managing security operations and infrastructure and overseeing more than $1 trillion in financial transactions per year.

“Increased focus on data privacy and security, as well as growing demand for hosted solutions, means that Mitratech must place as much importance on data protection and hosting infrastructure as we do on any other functionality of our market-leading software products. As market and client needs have evolved over the past few years, Kristoph has demonstrated a singular commitment to the security of our clients and our organization, and he has led multiple initiatives leading to world-class hosting uptime and performance,” said CEO Jason Parkman. “Our goal is to continue to provide our clients and partners with a best-in-class security program and constantly improving hosting performance, in order to offer peace of mind for the world’s best-run legal departments and their vendors.”

In addition to the newly established executive role, Mitratech has invested in two new UK data centers - a primary data center and a disaster recovery data center - which will allow for European companies to maintain all of their data and operations within the borders of Europe.

Key features of the new UK data centers include:
•        Cyber Essentials Certification
•        Safe Harbour Certification
•        ISO27001 Compliance
•        SSAE16 Service Provider Certification
•        Tier III Standards Compliance
•        Faster response speeds for our European customers

“Our UK data centers feature state-of-the-art infrastructure and a diverse UK grid connection.” said Gustovich. “Our trained experts manage the center 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, ensuring that we can meet the growing demands for secure, managed cloud hosting services in Europe.”
