Actifio has launched its Service Provider Marketplace, an online directory offering prospective and existing Actifio customers access to a broad selection of accredited Cloud and Managed Services from Service Providers around the world. All leverage Actifio to enable enterprise-class data mobility across a hybrid cloud infrastructure model; delivering business resiliency and agility uses cases with better SLAs and lower costs than traditional models. Channel Partners can also tap the Actifio Marketplace to add white label cloud services to their product portfolios, without the time and capital expense required until now.
All Service Providers featured in the marketplace deliver enterprise-class data management services built on Actifio’s best-in-class copy data virtualisation technology. Most leverage Actifio’s full-featured API to integrate copy data virtualisation into their current on-boarding, operations, support, and/or billing systems, making the integration process for customers radically simple. Each also maintains a fully trained Professional Services and Operations team in place to guide customers through the process and deal with queries.
At launch there are over twenty-two providers available to choose from across North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. Featured service providers include IBM, SunGard Availability Services, Verizon, Versutus, Datacom, Spectrum and more. For a more personalised approach, providers are searchable by geography, the type of service offered and Cloud capability.
Through Actifio’s copy data virtualisation platform, MSPs are able to offer Backup/Recovery, Business Continuity, Test Data Management and IT Security services from their own facility or a customer’s premises. Actifio-based services can also be delivered from dedicated infrastructure and/or the public cloud. “We’ve seen great momentum in the ecosystem of service providers, enterprise end customers, and third party technology providers building on the Actifio platform,” said Actifio Founder and CEO, Ash Ashutosh. “Supporting our business is increasingly about supporting theirs, and our new Service Provider Marketplace is another step towards integrating our offerings to make it easy for more customers to find the right service with the right partner at the right price no matter where they are or what they require.”
