‘Project of the year’ was awarded to Saudi Temco Company (KSA) for its involvement in the prestigious Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) expansion project in Riyadh. This large-scale project involved the supply, installation and support of more than ten computer room air conditioning (CRAC) units and is projected to significantly increase energy savings and improve resilience within the facility. Sameer Qazaqi, general manager, collected the award on behalf of Saudi Temco Company.
UAE-based Al Mazroui Advanced Technology picked up the title of ‘Business partner of the year’ in recognition of its collaborative approach, industry insight and quality of aftermarket support. The trophy was collected by general manager, Imad Moghrabi.
Al Mazroui Advanced Technology sales engineer, Sebin Thomas, was singled out by Airedale as ‘Engineer of the year 2015’ for his knowledge of the HVAC market, excellence in customer service and understanding of Airedale’s mission and values and their application within the market. In addition to his trophy, Sebin will benefit from a tour of Airedale’s brand new production and R&D facility in Leeds, UK, which will open in 2016.
The ‘Best new business partner’ trophy was awarded to Bahrain-based, Almoayyed Trading & Contracting. Anil Kumar, assistant sales manager, accepted the award in recognition of Almoayyed’s outstanding approach to quality and innovation in the design and delivery of cooling solutions.
Finally, Raju Vaswani, director of Kazema Traders was awarded the ‘Best user of energy-saving products’ title for their expertise in the integration of high efficiency HVAC solutions which have seen the Kuwait-based company supply a large number of products from Airedale’s high performance SmartCool™ precision air conditioning range featuring the latest energy-saving components such as tandem compressors, EC (electronically commutated) fans and electronic expansion valves (EEVs).
Part of Airedale’s annual training programme for partners and fellow industry professionals hosted in Dubai, the programme was believed to be one of 800 similar events introduced by federal and local government and private bodies in the Emirates to celebrate ‘UAE Innovation Week’, an initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
