During the contract period, Tieto will deliver standardized and scalable operating services that will help the Swedish Research Council harmonize and streamline its IT usage throughout the organization. Tieto will also provide a Service Desk and infrastructure that will simplify day-to-day activities for employees and end-users and give the agency increased control over IT costs.

Tieto has had a partnership with the Swedish Research Council since 2007 and the new deal creates an even stronger relationship where Tieto will serve as a full delivery partner. Tieto will also take full responsibility for the Service Desk, both on site and through a support centre in Sweden, which will increase the operational stability of the agency’s network.
