The platform, which has been built in-house from the ground up, has been designed to support a variety of dedicated and hosted phone systems. It leverages Fluidata’s proven expertise in data and connectivity to bring together significant advancements in reliability, security and value.
Piers Daniell, Managing Director of Fluidata said: “We have no existing voice revenue to cannibalise so we are being very disruptive in our approach to delivering low-cost call routing. We have a simple design and package to ensure customers will see great savings by routing calls via our new SIP platform.”
The platform, which initially will support over 300,000 SIP sessions, is being supported in multiple Data Centres simultaneously to ensure maximum uptime, while an advanced internally developed end-to-end fraud mitigation process adds an extra layer of security for partners and customers.
Harsal Thakrar, Product Architect of Fluidata said: “We have uncovered areas where, in our opinion, the industry platforms do not provide the level of uptime and quality that our customers expect and so we have spent 12 months working through these challenges to create a platform that we believe will create the new gold standard in the marketplace.”
Having seen much success supporting many suppliers to its partners with the Queen’s Award-winning Service Exchange Platform, Fluidata has similar ambitions with its SIP platform and plans to build a marketplace onto which a huge variety of upstream voice providers can exist to deliver maximum choice and value to partners.
Fluidata is currently bringing more customers onto the platform as it finishes up the beta trialling before launching the proposition for wider customer use in May 2016.
