Minkels, Ortronics and Legrand offer businesses a total data centre solution, covering both the "technical" and the "white space" aspects. The three companies will be jointly presenting their integrated data centre solution at Data Centre World (DCW) in London on 12 and 13 April.
Minkels will be demonstrating their Free Standing Cold Corridor along with various new additions to their product portfolio. The Free Standing Cold Corridor is a fully self-supporting aisle containment design. The solution – winner of the Frost & Sullivan New Product Innovation Award 2015 – allows the creation of enclosed corridors, without any requirement for data centre racks. This flexible, modular approach to the separation of warm and cold airflows is ideal for dynamic environments with an emphasis on energy efficiency.
Minkels will also be presenting various new additions to its product portfolio, including Minkels LED Tubes, the VariControl-L Integration Box (data centre security) and Drop Away Panels. These new additions represent Minkels' response to the rising demand for data centre security and safety solutions (Gartner, 2015 CIO Survey / Forrester, Sizing the Cloud Security Market). The Drop Away Panels for example improve fire safety in data centres: as soon as the temperature rises above 65°C the lightweight panels drop, creating space for a sprinkler system for instance.
Minkels, Ortronics and Legrand will not only be showing their innovative, complementary product portfolio, they will also be sharing their extensive experience with data centres during presentations on both 12 and 13 April on stand G40. For an overview of the programme see
