Awards celebrate industry success stories

The recent DCS Awards event, organised by Angel Business Communications, was a great opportunity to recognise the data centre technology and service innovations and achievements that are often taken for granted.

The City of London was a fitting venue for the 2016 edition of the DCS Awards. With London being one of the global data centre industry ‘powerhouse’ locations, what better location to celebrate the achievements of Europe’s data centre community? End users, technology vendors, hosting and cloud providers were all recognised in a highly entertaining evening bookended by some excellent food, courtesy of the Grange St Paul’s Hotel, and music from Betty & the Beats.

Regular DCS Awards host Paul Trowbridge kept the evening under tight, but relaxed control, ensuring that there was plenty of time for networking, dancing and thirst-slaking once the formalities of the comedy slot (thanks to musical comedian Rob Deering) and the awards ceremony were completed.

As for the awards themselves, many of the winning companies have released their own news stories celebrating their successes, but we’re pleased to publish a full list below.

Big thanks go to all our category sponsors for their continued support, and, in particular, Touchdown PR who sponsored the pre-dinner drinks and who are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year.

The awards are all based on online votes received over the last few weeks from across Europe. Congratulations to all the winners:
