Schneider Electric appoints Vladimir Tichy as Vice President of Ireland

Tichy, who joined Schneider Electric in 2000 as a technical and commercial support for MV equipment, has held numerous roles within the global energy management provider. He started his career in the Czech Republic where he held the roles of Product Manager MV, Distribution Sales Manager, Commercial Director for Distribution and Residential market and VP Power.

Vladimir Tichy moved over to the UK in 2012 to lead the Partner Retail team, requiring him to work closely with the team in Ireland. As VP of Retail, Tichy grew the UK business to a position of real strength and in 2015, the UK team won the fastest growth country award globally.

“I am delighted to appoint Vladimir Tichy to head up Schneider Electric’s business in Ireland. Vladimir brings a wealth of knowledge about Schneider Electric and has already been working closely with the Ireland team in his role as VP Retail UK,” said Tanuja Randery, Zone President, Schneider Electric UK and Ireland.
