The first of the company’s North America expansion announcements, BSO is lighting up Equinix NY4 – Equinix NY9 – 325 Hudson – 60 Hudson – 165 Halsey – Equinix NY4, a crucial circuit for financial organizations seeking low latency connectivity between key markets. The announcement is part of BSO’s ongoing effort to invest in its backbone with an emphasis on lowering latencies and establishing new points of presence (PoP) on the world’s busiest financial trading routes.
BSO’s expansion into the data centres will provide the local financial community with a single point of entry to BSO’s global network, linking the US to established and emerging markets in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The connections through 165 Halsey will have access to a diverse route to CME Aurora in Chicago, which avoids 350 E. Cermak and Equinix NY4. The low latency circuit also provides access to the new, ultra low latency speeds of the “BSO-FX Ultra Low” London – Tokyo – New York FX circuit.
“The heart of America’s finance community and home to the world’s largest stock exchange by market capitalization, New York is a crucial metropolitan area in BSO’s North America expansion and will immediately benefit Wall Street customers,” comments Michael Ourabah, CEO at BSO. “BSO is known for redefining connectivity through our best-in-class services, global knowledge base and unique approach to the customer experience, which we believe will offer a welcome alternative to the financial sector in the US.”
