Epsilon has been selected by Qube Managed Services, a leading international managed hosting provider, to deliver its Cloud Link Exchange (CloudLX) cloud connectivity platform. Qube Managed IT services will offer its customers high-performance connectivity to cloud service providers including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure as well as other cloud service providers and global internet exchanges.

UK-based Qube will use a white-label version of CloudLX to offer its customers direct access to on demand Ethernet services covering 170+ countries. It will retain its customer relationships while leveraging CloudLX’s click-to-connect provisioning with guaranteed Quality of Service (QoS) and Experience (QoE). Customers will benefit from rapid access to cloud connectivity delivered via a self-service portal.

“The white-label version of CloudLX can be a powerful tool for service providers that want to efficiently add new capabilities to their portfolio and develop new revenue streams. Qube’s customers can connect to cloud providers and easily adjust their services via any web browser anywhere in the world,” said Jerzy Szlosarek, CEO at Epsilon. “We are supporting the success of service providers in the cloud and enabling their customers to gain rapid access to flexible and on demand cloud connectivity.”

CloudLX has been deployed at Qube Managed Service’s Goswell Road facility in London where Epsilon have an on-net presence. The Goswell Road PoP is one of 23 data centres on Epsilon’s London Metro Ethernet ring, which are connected to Epsilon’s 1TB optical backbone spanning 75 PoPs globally. CloudLX offers customers seamless connectivity to multiple cloud service providers through a single virtual connection, increasing cost and time efficiency and removing the complexity of traditional network procurement.

“CloudLX gives our customers a friction-free platform for cloud connectivity. It combines on demand Ethernet, network analytics and new levels of intelligence that supports our vision for vibrant and agile cloud solutions. We were impressed with CloudLX’s depth and breadth of reporting features like bandwidth utilisation, information on packet loss and latency as well as its strict SLAs and QoS guarantees,” says Simon Neal, CSMO at Qube Managed Services.

Qube has been quick to evolve their business model to embrace the rapid take-up in Hybrid Cloud Services at both mid-size corporate and Enterprise level. It has been in operation for more than 15 years and supports clients like Just Giving, Betfair.com, Jamie Oliver and BP as well as many others.
