Zenium builds construction team

Zenium has appointed Gary Neate as Project Manager.  Neate joins Zenium from Emerson Network Power where he was most recently responsible for the commissioning, construction and delivery of data centers in Myanmar and Sweden. He also brings with him extensive experience of administering and supervising challenging technical projects in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia.

A strategic appointment, Zenium is pro-actively expanding its construction team to further support its portfolio of seven data centers in the UK, Germany and Turkey.  Neate will initially be responsible for overseeing the construction of the new halls in Istanbul Two and Three but will also work in London Two and Frankfurt Two; expected to open for business in the third quarter of 2017 and the second quarter of 2018 respectively.

“The key to ensuring accurate construction of new data center facilities is the ability to trust a team of experts that have detailed knowledge of every aspect of the data center design and build process,” said Franek Sodzawiczny, CEO at Zenium. “With over 20 year’s knowledge of the business, Gary is both a dependable and hands on project manager. He has all the core skills required to manage what is a complex and demanding process – from conception through to completion.  Having worked with him on many occasions over the years, we are delighted to welcome him to the Zenium team as a trusted professional.”

Neate added: “Zenium has made a big impact on the data center industry in a very short period of time. I am looking forward to getting my sleeves rolled up and contributing to its continued success.”
