Zenium goes hyperscale in London and Frankfurt

Zenium has secured two significant letting contracts totalling 2.76MW at its London One and Frankfurt Two data center facilities.  The agreements were signed with an existing hyperscale customer based on Zenium’s ability to support their future expansion plans with purpose-built highly efficient technical space.

The customer - the anchor tenant at London One - has extended its initial requirement, adding another 1MW within a second data hall on the ground floor, with an option to take a further 2MW’s.

The same customer has signed a pre-let contract for 1.76MW at Frankfurt Two, with an option to take a further 1.76MW.  This commitment brings Zenium Frankfurt Two to 50% pre-let in just six months since Zenium broke ground at the site.

“Two of Zenium’s largest customers have more than tripled their capacity with us across our European portfolio over the last 12 to 24 months,” said Franek Sodzawiczny, Founder and CEO at Zenium.  “This is testament to our focus on customer service and dedication to customer retention. The ability to provide a flexible and scalable approach to enable phased growth is very attractive to organisations that want to draw down power and technical space, as and when they need it, from an agile data center operator.”

The Zenium model is focused on developing state-of-the-art facilities with leading edge cooling solutions and PUE’s as low as 1.2.  These components meet the needs of both the increasingly discerning international cloud service providers and Fortune 500 enterprises.
