Computacenter has announced plans to strengthen its global service operations with a new facility in Poland.

As part of the company’s global delivery strategy, Computacenter has secured a new lease in Poznan, Poland to enable live services from July 2018. This new service centre in Poznan will enable greater service support for its multinational clients. The additional presence in Poland will enable Computacenter to offer greater flexibility in multilingual end user support with a new facility which will deliver a wide range of support activities designed to deliver world class end user experience to our client community.

Paul Anderson, Divisional Head, Group Managed Services Computacenter said: “We have delivered multilingual services for many years, and our new facility in Poznan was selected as the perfect location to service both existing customers, from which we’re experiencing increased demand, and new, international business with a strong European presence. Having a centre in Poznan gives us increased capacity to deliver exceptional services to our customers, while also recruiting new talent.”

The Poznan location, with a focus on German and Eastern European languages, also brings with it a recruitment drive, opening up opportunities for local talent.

Computacenter delivers truly localised, right-shore responsive support to customers providing the benefit of local language experts and proximate incident, email, and call handling. This is the latest location for Computacenter, following the opening of two new operations in North America, and brings Computacenter’s total Service Desk presence to 34 locations worldwide.

Reiner Louis, Managing Director, Germany; Computacenter, said: “Our operations in Europe reflect Computacenter’s right-shoring strategy and customer-centric DNA. We want to provide the right blend of cost, proximity and availability, wherever our customers need us.”
