NGD maximises organisational resilience with latest global ISO Health and Safety certification

Hyperscale data centre operator achieves BSI ISO 45001 certification.

NGD has been awarded the recently published BSI ISO 45001, the first global standard for occupational health and safety management.

Designed to raise the bar for health and safety in the workplace globally, BSI ISO 45001 replaces OHSAS 18001. It ensures organisations provide a safe and healthy workplace for workers while providing a framework for continually improving OH&S performance.

Commented Justin Jenkins, Chief Operating Officer at Next Generation Data: “While BSI ISO 45001 compliance is voluntary it clearly demonstrates that NGD has a robust OH&S management system in place which is important for our reputation in front of global customers as well as employees. It puts the processes in place to maintain and increase our organisational resilience while ensuring staff stay safe and well.”

NGD holds a growing number of internationally recognised standards covering quality, environmental, security and operational excellence, including BSI ISO 9001:2015, BSI ISO 14001:2015, BSI ISO 27001:2013, PCI DSS, ISAE-3402 and SSAE-16.
