Following a successful tender proposal, the Microsoft Azure Gold Partner has helped AO.com build on its existing cloud infrastructure which includes a solution from Amazon Web Services. With a comprehensive back-up solution from Microsoft Azure now in place, the online retailer will be able to ensure the continued resilience of its digital presence for its customers.

Through the management of the solution, and with ongoing support from ANS, the forward-thinking company is now able to focus internal resources towards streamlining its IT operations process and enhancing customer experience.

Dave Wilson, Director of IT services at AO.com commented: "As a digital business committed to delivering the best service to our customers at all times, it's vital that we have robust infrastructure in place. Therefore, we're always on the lookout for new solutions that can help us to maintain constant uptime and focus on optimising the online journey for our customers.

"ANS has a proven track-record in delivering transformative projects to facilitate growth and help organisations provide better services to their customers. This, coupled with the company's expertise and knowledge of Microsoft's products, really stood out in the tender process. Through ANS' continuous engagement and the bespoke nature of the solution it has provided, we can focus on growing our business further."

Andy Barrow, CTO at ANS added: "Resilience is vital for the success of modern, digital businesses and AO.com recognises this. The back-end systems that we've provided will ensure that daily operations run effectively, while offering the foundation needed to support the company's growth trajectory.

"AO.com has been an agile business since its inception. The company isn't afraid to challenge the status quo and is willing to adopt new ways of working in order to push the boundaries even further. This bold attitude and willingness to embrace technology is essential for retailers, especially as the landscape continues to shift and evolve so rapidly."
