“With the file transfer market expected to exceed more than $1.0 billion by 2022 in the U.S. alone, Ipswitch continues to meet the demands worldwide for continuous improvement in performance and cost efficiency,” said Bill Doll, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Ipswitch. “MOVEit 2019 delivers an even more usable managed file transfer solution that makes onboarding, scaling and integration easier than ever before.

With MOVEit 2019, MOVEit Transfer users are now able to live view dynamic links for fast access to detailed file transfer activity. MOVEit Transfer 2019 also adds enhanced secure folder sharing options for more granular user rights while security questions for password resets save administrative time and effort. In addition, this release now natively supports Azure Blob for encrypted data storage. This provides easier implementation in the Microsoft Azure environment with vastly improved storage scalability.

MOVEit 2019 Client enhancements are available for easier file and folder management, including the ability to upload entire folders and subfolders, multi-select files and folders for download or deletion, inline renaming, and the ability to view folder sharing permissions.

“MOVEit 2019 offers a number of important enhancements in this release,” said Michael Osterman, Principal Analyst of Osterman Research. “Chief among them are improved security, better management of user rights over content, better support for users of the Microsoft Azure cloud and better visibility into information about file transfers.”
