Core DataCloud had historically used a blend of storage solutions to manage and protect customer data. However, its detailed market assessment as part of a strategic system upgrade revealed that Infinidat would be a suitable replacement in totality. The technology implemented would be more than capable of supporting Core DataCloud’s hosting service today and into the future.
“Market demand for a ‘cloud first’ strategy is gaining momentum,” said Sharad Saggar, managing director at Core DataCloud. “Our decision to select Infinidat was not only based on its compelling commercial proposition but also the company’s capabilities in supporting our business growth. This is to extend the portfolio of hosting services we offer without incurring any unforeseen investment costs.”
Core DataCloud will be extending its relationship with value added distributor M2M Enterprise, a long-term partner of Infinidat, to offer cloud-based services 'powered by InfiniBox.’
Eran Brown, EMEA CTO at Infinidat added: “The challenge for enterprise IT organisations and managed service providers is to exceed service level objectives while radically lowering the cost and complexity of storage operations. Infinidat was designed and built to manage even the most demanding of workloads. The fact that Core DataCloud has chosen to put Infinidat at the heart of its business is a strong endorsement of the capabilities, and business benefits, that our technology can deliver.”
