Upping the stakes for monitoring, visibility and diagnostics

Liquidware has announced the general availability of Stratusphere™ UX version 6.1.4 that delivers new enhancements for user experience monitoring, particularly in support of AWS and Azure platforms. The latest version of Stratusphere UX will be showcased during VMworld Europe in booth E127, along with Liquidware’s user environment management and application layering solutions, ProfileUnity and FlexApp.

Version 6.1.4 of Stratusphere UX provides:

·         Focus support for AWS and Azure appliances (Hub, database and collector)

·         Patented Connector ID (CID) key adds support for:

o   Amazon AppStream 2.0

o   Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop

o   10ZiG NOSTM Zero Clients

o   RFX metrics on Windows 7 (RDP 8) – enabling organizations still using Windows 7 to take advantage of the RFX protocol

·         New additions within SpotChecks, including detection of how many days a machine has not rebooted or “called back”, enhancing user endpoint security

·

“Having a Stratusphere UX native agent for our leading Zero Clients will provide our customers with greater visibility on their end points’ utilization,” stated Kevin Greenway, CTO at 10ZiG. “Combined with the troubleshooting that Stratusphere UX delivers, this integration will also assist in ensuring levels of user experience of our combined systems.”

"Liquidware Stratusphere UX integration into the 10ZiG Zero Client firmware gives a complete visibility into the quality of end user workspace experience combined with ease of deployment. Telecom Systems is a trusted advisor/partner and considers the Stratusphere UX/10ZiG integration a “must have” solution for our customers, " commented Nicolas Lutz, Sales Director Telecom System SA Switzerland.

Furthermore, the robust Stratusphere UX API is being utilized in organizations as a data-mining engine to complement their current data visualization, business intelligence (BI) and service desk platforms. Usage metrics are a key component in all three and Stratusphere UX provides a comprehensive ‘drill down’ into every aspect of user experience – diagnostics, performance validation and optimization, base-lining and on-boarding users, and prioritizing support – that feeds these platforms with the required data metrics.

“This latest version of Stratusphere UX is very timely with the announcement of Windows Virtual Desktop GA. Many organizations will be looking at a seamless way to on-board new users to this platform and Stratusphere UX provides all the elements to do so successfully,” stated Jason E. Smith, VP of Product Marketing at Liquidware. “The user experience data metrics that Stratusphere UX provides to data visualization, BI and service desk platforms is a continuation of the innovation Liquidware delivers to enterprise organizations and expands on our overall application delivery strategy.”
