Benore deployed two two-server hyperconverged clusters. One is a test system for research and development and the second is in live production. Thanks to the performance enhancements using StorMagic SvSAN, all of the company’s resources in the production system now have faster access to its databases and applications. There are eight additional VMware-based servers that access the production HCI cluster, which delivers a fault-tolerant, high-performance and maintenance-friendly environment.
“More IT departments today are integrating hyperconverged infrastructures during hardware refreshes due to the cost savings that virtual SANs deliver,” said Brian Grainger, StorMagic’s CRO. “StorMagic SvSAN is a low cost, high-performance, proven alternative to physical SANs that lets small datacenter customers like Benore Logistics meet their goals, preserve their budgets and eliminate complexities.”
