The world’s most innovative organizations of all sizes, including traditional hyperscalers, colocation facilities, enterprise and government, will explore integrated solutions with a roadmap to deploy open source technologies. Attendees will gain insight and inspiration with this year’s dynamic keynote speaker lineup that features industry giants such as Facebook, Samsung and Intel. In addition to the keynote speakers, the OCP Global Summit will offer nearly 100 engineering workshops, executive tracks and speaking sessions.
“Cultivating open collaboration, even between competitors, is key to maximizing innovation, reducing complexity in tech components and, ultimately, enabling more data and services to move to the cloud,” commented Bill Carter, Chief Technology Officer at the Open Compute Project Foundation. “By hosting this forward-looking event that attracts like-minded pioneers who promote the adoption of open source technologies, we hope to build awareness that the innovations and solutions resulting from open hardware technology are solving today’s and tomorrow’s challenges better and faster than deploying open source alone.”
Prior to the event, the third OCP Future Technologies Symposium will be held on March 3, 2020, as a full-day track. The symposium features technologies that focus on solving future industry problems and accelerate productization through partnerships and open source R&D.
