Hydro66 launches H66cloud

Hydro66, the green cloud infrastructure compan,y has launched what it says is the worlds’ lowest carbon footprint cloud - in a partnership with CloudSigma and HPE.

David Rowe CEO says “ The launch of H66cloud is a milestone and a new chapter for the company as we extend our capabilities  by providing a complete end to end cloud infrastructure for our customers, partners and sales pipeline.”  

H66cloud (www.hydro66.com/cloud)  is built with a green approach from the ground up all the way from the power source through to the data center design and including the cloud platform itself. H66cloud aims to help customers make significant savings with a number of innovative features including true pay per use and application portability.

H66cloud is hosted in Sweden and through their  partnership with CloudSigma will be able to serve customers globally. The company is also planning to add more specialised business requirements to the H66cloud platform with the addition of high performance specialist cloud options optimised for blockchain, rendering, machine learning and artificial intelligence type applications. 


David Rowe concludes “The H66cloud platform will significantly add to our capabilities in traditional colocation at our Boden facility and helps us spread the green cloud infrastructure message further afield. We intend to extend the H66cloud service in the near future to add high performance compute capabilities including cryptographic and blockchain algorithm services.”
