Hybrid and remote working have quickly become the standard working practice for many desk-based jobs. ServerChoice’s research shows that 42% of SMEs are planning to move or have already moved from their office in order to facilitate hybrid working. This new normal is leading to many businesses exploring their options in the infrastructure market.

However, as no two businesses are the same, there is no “one size fits all” solution for IT infrastructure. The new ServerChoice Connect service facilitates variety, giving businesses the agility they need to flourish in the current landscape. Through its flexible approach, ServerChoice Connect allows businesses to capitalise on the benefits of differing environments. For example, organisations using the new service can now exploit the scalability of hybrid cloud, while benefitting from the data sovereignty and security delivered by colocation services. Users of ServerChoice Connect are also now able to transfer data and workloads from various locations, allowing them to rapidly adapt to changing market demands as and when it is required.

The full features of the technology include:

Fast, high-performance connectivity direct from a ServerChoice rack

Connect to cloud providers, data centres, peering exchanges, VoIP, Telcos/ISPs and IaaS/PaaS

Flexible bandwidth up and down, by up to 10 Gbps

All-inclusive, fully managed service from one provider

Adam Bradshaw, Commercial Director at ServerChoice, said “We are proud to be launching the new ServerChoice Connect service today. Our ServerChoice data centres assist a range of clients from varying sectors, all of which have differing requirements. However, the one common factor between all these businesses is the demand for increased options and agility.

“If the last year and a half has taught us anything, it’s how quickly circumstances can change and demand can fluctuate. Businesses are all too aware of this and are subsequently more discerning when implementing new components into their IT environment. This was the driving factor for creating ServerChoice Connect. The service provides organisations with unprecedented agility, particularly considering the volatile business landscape many now operate in, and we look forward to working closely with our customers to help them maximise the flexibility provided by this new offering.”
