European technology firm SCC has acquired Resonate, a prominent provider of cloud voice and collaboration services centred on Microsoft Teams. With offices across Europe and India, Resonate has experienced steady growth since its establishment in 2015, catering to large organisations seeking sophisticated communication solutions.

"SCC has a wide-ranging and incredibly loyal customer base," said Bob Garcia, CEO of Resonate. "They are recognised in the industry for their pragmatism and their commitment to customer success. We knew that SCC would be a good home for Resonate and a great environment for our people to continue to grow their skills and drive innovation and business value for customers."

Established in 1975, SCC has grown from its origins as a reseller to become a comprehensive technology solutions provider. This acquisition aligns with SCC's Digital Solutions and Services Provider (DSSP) strategy, further solidifying its position in the market and expanding its offerings in line with evolving customer needs.

"On behalf of SCC, I am pleased to welcome the Resonate team into our family," said James Rigby, CEO of SCC EMEA. "Their expertise on Microsoft Teams, their world-class managed service, and their purpose-built management tools will be a welcome addition to our portfolio and an exciting new solution to take to our customers."

Rigby emphasised SCC's dedication to enhancing its Microsoft capabilities, particularly in light of the growing importance of platforms like Microsoft Teams in enterprise environments.

For Resonate, joining forces with SCC represented a logical progression in their quest for market expansion. Bob Garcia, CEO of Resonate, praised SCC's reputation for customer-centricity and highlighted the potential for innovation and growth within SCC's ecosystem.

Under the leadership of Garcia and the existing management team, Resonate will operate as a separate entity within SCC, supported by senior executives from both organisations. This move signifies SCC's commitment to preserving Resonate's unique strengths while leveraging synergies to drive continued success in the unified communications space.
