Colin will assume his full role on 28th March, following the retirement of Chris Norton, who spent more than two decades in different roles in InterSystems. Since 2019, Chris led the UKI business as Managing Director and was instrumental in developing InterSystems business across its strategic markets of healthcare, finance, and supply chain management.

“I have enjoyed my time at InterSystems immensely, spending over half my career with the business. The time has simply flown by, and it has been an honour to have contributed to our growth and serve our marvelous customers. The InterSystems culture remains constant in its drive for customer success and its ability to continuously evolve and this makes it a great company to work for. This has been a tough decision for me to take, but I leave confident that Colin will do a terrific job to take the UKI business forward,” Chris Norton commented.

Colin brings a wealth of industry leadership experience and expertise. He joins InterSystems from the Dedalus Group where he was Managing Director UK & Ireland. For more than two decades Colin’s career includes leadership positions at DXC Technology, Orion Health, and IBM Global Services across UK, Ireland, Israel, Middle East, and Africa.

Colin Henderson adds, “InterSystems customer-centric focus has contributed to its continued growth in an evolving economic environment. I will continue that customer focus, while being excited by the prospect of expanding our cloud-first products and services businesses and exploring new markets.”

Colin joins at a key point in the next stage of InterSystems growth, as the company builds on its strengths with unifying data to provide a foundation for artificial intelligence for the healthcare, financial services, government, manufacturing, and logistics industries. As the world becomes more connected, unifying data to improve decision-making in healthcare with technologies like artificial intelligence is more important than ever.
