Check Point Software celebrates channel success

Channel partners have been recognised for their outstanding achievements over the last 12 months.

Check Point® Software Technologies recently celebrated the achievements of its UK partners at an Awards Gala held in London.

In 2024, cyber threats have evolved into a formidable challenge for individuals, businesses, and governments worldwide. According to Check Point, an organisation in the UK has been attacked on average 750 times per week in the last six months. With the rapid advancement of technology, cybercriminals have capitalised on sophisticated tactics, leveraging artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation to orchestrate complex attacks.

Speaking at the event, Mark Weir, Regional Director UK&I at Check Point Software said: "Our partners are the backbone of our success, turning collaboration into powerful forces for growth. Their dedication, expertise, and commitment to excellence motivate us to continuously innovate and deliver our solutions to every corner of the market.”

“By pooling our collective expertise and resources, we not only strengthen defenses for the customers, but also cultivate a culture of cyber resilience across entire regions and industries. Through shared knowledge and proactive outreach, we’re paving the way for a safer digital future for all."

The Partner Awards

The awards, which took place at One Moorgate Place in London, honoured the input of Check Point’s valued resellers, and celebrated the growing partner community in the UK.

During the evening, there was a fundraiser in support of Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, a cause close to the heart of George Finch, Partner Sales Manager at Check Point. He is also raising money for the hospice as part of CRN’s Fight Night charity tournament which takes place on the 23rd of May. The awards ceremony was emceed by comedian Tom Allen, English comic, actor, writer and presenter of The Apprentice: You’re Fired and co-host of Cooking with the Stars.
