ITGL acquires Intuitive Systems & Networks

ITGL, part of Conscia - a digital transformation provider and Cisco Gold Partner - has acquired Swindon-based Intuitive Systems & Networks (ISN), a Cisco technology solutions and services provider.

ITGL, part of Conscia, provides extensive expertise in cybersecurity, collaboration and networking across the UK, with a strong presence in the public sector combined with experience in the commercial sector.

Complementing ITGL, ISN provides cybersecurity, managed network and software-defined solutions predominantly within the UK mid market space and to a number of public sector organisations. The acquisition will bolster ITGL’s presence in the commercial sector, increase its capabilities and coverage in the managed services space and strengthen cybersecurity offerings for both organisations. For ISN, the acquisition is also an opportunity to expand and accelerate opportunities for its employees.

Operating as ‘ISN, part of Consica’, ISN’s 40-strong employees will continue to work out of the company’s base in Royal Wootton Bassett, while running in close partnership with the ITGL teams in Oxford and Portsmouth, bringing the overall headcount for the newly merged organisation to 130.

The announcement comes less than a year since ITGL was acquired by Conscia, a leading provider of cybersecurity and networking solutions for mission-critical IT infrastructure in large European organisations, to spearhead the latter’s entry into the UK. Since then, both parties have worked on a ‘Fit for Growth’ programme to help ITGL strengthen its market position and the ISN acquisition is part of this growth strategy.

Neil Pemberton, CEO, ITGL, part of Conscia, says, “Joining Conscia created new growth opportunities for ITGL. ISN is an ideal acquisition for us, from a culture, capabilities and market expertise perspective. With the organisation on board, we are better placed to expand our commercial client base and enhance existing managed services and cybersecurity offerings. We look forward to exploring these opportunities with our new colleagues.”

Conscia Group brings financial strength and scale in networking competencies and an edge as a pan-European cybersecurity leader with award winning services and solutions.

Richard Titheradge, CEO, ISN says, “We’re thrilled to be joining ITGL, part of Conscia. ITGL being a Cisco Gold Partner, with a strong presence in the public sector, means that we complement each other perfectly. Additionally, by leveraging the wider Conscia international network, we can create more exciting opportunities for our employees and bring even greater value to our clients. We’re excited about the new possibilities that the coming together of two like-minded organisations will bring not just to our team but to existing and future clients.”
