IFS, renowned for its enterprise cloud and Industrial AI software, has taken a bold step by appointing Kriti Sharma as the CEO of IFS Nexus Black. This strategic decision underscores IFS's dedication to advancing Industrial AI and accelerating the creation of agentic AI systems tailored for asset- and service-intensive sectors.

Sharma is a distinguished figure in the AI domain, known for her impressive record in creating enterprise AI solutions and championing responsible AI efforts. Her journey at IFS begins after a successful tenure at Thomson Reuters, where she played a pivotal role as Chief Product Officer for LegalTech, spearheading significant AI transformations. Notably, her experience spans senior AI positions at Sage Group and GfK, and she holds a non-executive board position at Rightmove PLC. Sharma's achievements have been acknowledged by platforms such as Forbes 30 Under 30 and the UK Prime Minister’s Points of Light. The United Nations also recognized her as a Young Leader, celebrating her contributions to ethical AI practices.

In her new role as CEO of Nexus Black, IFS’s innovation accelerator, Sharma's mandate is clear – to lead the design and deployment of industry-specific, agentic AI for fields including manufacturing, energy, aerospace, and construction. Her focus will be on collaborating with clients to deliver practical, scalable AI applications designed to address intricate and valuable industry-specific challenges.

Nexus Black's agenda is further bolstered with the appointment of Nick Vandivere as Chief Innovation Officer. Bringing his expertise from Thomson Reuters, Vandivere will spearhead the expansion of IFS’s Industrial AI ventures. His mission centers on frontier use cases and strategic technological investments, working closely with Sharma to fast-track agentic AI solutions on the IFS Cloud spectrum.

Mark Moffat, CEO of IFS, acknowledged the significance of these appointments, emphasizing that the company isn't solely limiting itself to exploring possibilities but building indispensable solutions. "With Kriti at the helm of Nexus Black, coupled with exceptional leadership driving innovation, IFS is well-positioned to deliver Industrial AI that's contextual and deeply beneficial to the industries we serve," Moffat noted.
